Saigon or Ho Chi Minh City is the ecnomic centre of Vietnam, and is booming with new hotels, chic bars and trendy clubs. There are plenty of old landmarks worth visiting and interesting markets where you can get a lot of high-quality antiques and souvenir
Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, locates at the heart of the southern part of Viet Nam, between the northern edge of the Mekong Delta and the South Eastern region of volcanic red soil. Being a transformation between the two terrains, Ho Chi Minh City is intertwined with natural forest, vast plains, long coast and hundreds of rivers and canals. The Saigon River winds around the city and connect it with the East Sea.

Hai Long Travel team will pick you up from hotel at 8.30 Am. We will visit to the Re Unification Palace, the former palace of President Thieu and his predecessors. Today this building is a museum and venue for official receptions. You can visit the private rooms of the president, the “War Room” from where the South Vietnamese forces were controlled, and, most poignantly, the room where the North Vietnamese army finally took control in 1975. Nearby is the Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and one of the city’s major landmarks. Neo-Romanesque in form, Notre Dame is the major seat of the Catholic religion in modern Vietnam. We continue to the War Remains Museum, where you can learn a lot about the Vietnam War.
Lunch with Vietnamese delicacies.
In the afternoon we will visit to Jade Emperor Temple, one of the oldest Chinese temples in Saigon. The last sight we will visit is Ben Thanh market, where all kind of goods are offered. Our team will drop you off at hotel.
